Marshal Tito
Sounds & Images
TitoVisitsChurchill.rm - Tito's historic 1953 visit with Winston Churchill. As dedicated an anti-communist as Churchill was, he invited Marshal Tito to visit as much to recognize him publicly as a strong and legitimate as to keep friendly relations with a country equally committed to resisting Soviet influence in the Balkans and Mediterranean. Do note, however, the interesting gesture Tito makes in the beginning of this clip.
