Casey Stengel "explains" why Baseball wants a bill passed to keep it exempt from anti-trust laws.
Excerpt from above: "I would say I wouldn't know, but I would say the reason why they'd want it passed is to keep Baseball going as the highest...Baseball Sport...that has gone into Baseball and from the Baseball angle - I'm not gonna speak of any other sport!"
Excerpt from same as above "It's been run cleaner than any Baseball business that was ever put out in a hundred years at the present time."
Casey explains, among other things, that high ballpark attendance is due to people watching TV overseas & that people older than 45 shouldn't drive on highways.
Casey goes from explaining how Baseball Players grew in number to why people drink on Oil Company Holidays & how money spent on drinking is best spent raising kids that can qualify for new Baseball Player bonuses when they grow up.
